In his role as a top level headhunter, Jason has been advising clients on succession planning for many years. At Manchester Square Partners, he is able to concentrate on this advisory role wholeheartedly.


His focus is on working with senior executives who are at or near the top of their chosen field and who wish to manage their career most effectively, often at a critical point of change. His work centres on enhancing the likelihood of success through careful preparation and tactical planning. 


Before joining Manchester Square Partners, Jason spent 20 years in executive search as a Partner at Spencer Stuart and Russell Reynolds where he led primarily on the execution of succession plans in the Financial Services sector. He handled Chief Executive mandates and other senior leadership roles across Group functions and specialist divisions. He also advised on the formation of management teams, internal and external benchmarking projects and executive assessment including Mergers & Acquisition situations.


Alongside his client activities, Jason sat on the Worldwide board of Directors in a non executive capacity at Spencer Stuart for 3 consecutive terms. He served on the Worldwide Management team on two separate occasions, initially as Head of Relationship Management and latterly in a new role as Head of Global Practices. Before that, he led the Global Financial services practice for 11 years. He was also the Managing Director of the UK business for three years. 

Jason was educated at Radley College and Durham University. His early career was as a banker where he was formally trained by Citibank and Salomon Brothers International and then latterly worked in UK coverage for Chase Manhattan


Professional life aside, Jason is the Chairman of the Rank Fellowship, an initiative sponsored by the Rank Foundation which is a major UK charitable trust founded by Lord and Lady Rank. He is also a member of the Tick Tock club board and of the Corporate Partnerships board of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity.
